This update is the second half of the 'initial' thank you mini-update (where further details of first mini update can be found here).

- Sean has been visually updated

^^ 2 years later, I've finally given Sean the biceps he'd always dreamed of! Also, I've attached a dark purple overlay to the sprite! While a more 'realistic' rendering approach worked well for a drama-romance genre, if I were to create a more lighthearted game I'd probably go for a simpler rendering style! (P.S I changed Sean's nametag to Felix because if you were on the run, I don’t think the smartest move would be to keep using your real name LMAO)

-Sean has been voiced! (Big thanks to Phil Sterman!)

- Lip flaps have been added! (his mouth moves lol)

- The background Diner has been visually updated

^^ To stay true to the spirit of updating what was already there, I originally planned to draw a new background from scratch, but I decided against that and instead focused on further rendering the background I had modeled.

- The script has been lightly tweaked to be more cohesive

- An original track has been added to the game! (Thanks to Tremarl!)

- Vietnamese translation has been added (Thanks to Nhung Tran!)

So... what's next? (but like fr lmao)

As mentioned in my last devlog, I was kinda indecisive on what to work on next. 

I'm honestly still considering remastering Trials of the Betwixt (and actually taking my time with it), incorporating ideas I had before, updating the art, and adding more puzzles, arbiters and endings (especially towards the end). I want to clean it up and fix it up properly but I'll keep that idea in my back pocket for the foreseeable future.

So what does that leave me with? Making a full game surrounding the idea of O'ermorrow or WMSIC! 

... 

Unless... a certain game jam-

KIDDING. Kidding... maybe. Well, I have an idea in mind, but I'm unsure if I'll have the time to use some game jams deadline as the motivator to sit down and work on it. I know the games I’ve worked on have been on the grittier side, but I really want to try making something a bit more slice-of-life and feel-good, y'know? Maybe throw in fun things I'd personally experienced. So if I happen to release something like that this year (no promises though, lol), I hope you’ll give it a shot, even if it’s a bit different from the kind of games I usually make.

But hey, maybe tomorrow I'll wake up, say fuck it and make a whole ass clown-killer-circus-alien VN, who knows? (this sentence just made this entire last segment kinda null LMAO) (；´∀｀)

Regardless, I'm totally taking a break right now - so guess only time will tell!

Thank you all for the wonderful 2 years! (IT'S BEEN 2 YEARS???!!!) I've grown a lot since I started, and it's all thanks to your support and feedback. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some Arkveld to hunt.
