Waiter, my spaghetti is cold!
Story
Ignoring your calls and ghosting you for weeks is one thing, giving you cold spaghetti leftovers after tracking him down is another.
'Waiter, my spaghetti is cold!' is a drama-romance with two endings. The game was made within 10 days for the O2A2 VN Jam 2023, a micro Visual Novel jam with strict asset limitations and a 1000-word limit.
Please note that the game contains mild depictions of violence.
Features
- Roughly 991 words (Around 10-15 mins of playtime)
- 2 endings
- Hand-drawn sprite
- Modelled and rendered background
** While a web version is available, I'd recommend downloading the files for the best experience as the web version tends to miss audio cues, pixelate images and mess up transitions. **

Ahhh so good I got ending B at first then got ending A <3 God bless you
Awhh that as unexpected! It's such a short story but it was done so well! Love itt<3
Got ending A almost immediately
I wish this was a full game! ; _ ;
Anyways, if you ever plan on touching this game again, there are a few things that should be addressed.
I know it's a short game, but there is no Load or Skip function. Also, throughout my gameplay on the website, I kept getting a pop-up that said "Warning: write error: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'transaction')". That's all!
🤍GREAT GAME🖤
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! (´꒳`)♡
what a nice little game
I'm glad you enjoyed it! ( ´ ω ` )❤
Aw.. I love this
I'm beginning to think this isn't actually about spaghetti...
Nicely done. The art looks really nice and I was immediately drawn into these characters and their story.
(Would have liked some background music or ambient though.)
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed the experience!
this was so good! i loved the art and like everyone else said, the flow of conversation was really natural. sean's facial expressions and his relationship with the main character are so cute. i'd love to see more of your work in the future!!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it!! (≧◡≦) ♡
This was very cool! The art was super pretty and I loved how we're thrown into the meat of the story right from the get go. The dialogue felt really natural. I'd love to see more of these characters.
Great job! <3
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the dialogue and experience! ( ´ ω ` )❤
Very lovely
Thank you!

Very enjoyable. The characters and their interaction felt human and the way you kept building on everything was engaging. It's not normally the kind of story I'll go for but I enjoyed this very much which I think speaks to your ability to tell a story. :)
Well done!! <3
AAH thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the experience! ❤
The artwork is great; I'm looking forward to your future games!
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, it was fun watching you play it haha! ❤
Hey, I played it and congrats on releasing the entry! First, the art was good (both sprite and background), and the coding very fluid!
I also have so many questions (although the entry manages to be a self-contained game) about Sean's past (I have my theories, but I won't spoil anything in the comments, hehe) and his relationship with MC!
The story was interesting and I enjoyed the twist of ending A. Congrats on a good game!!!! (I think it's your first one?? It's super impressive, wow, it makes me feel so lame about my first games, haha!! But really, excited to see more of your work!)
Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words and taking the time to play my game!
And yes, this is my first game! The O2A2 Game Jam was a wonderful push of motivation to finally make one, so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the experience!
( ´ ω ` )❤
Wow! I love the experience! The atmosphere for the conversation and how it built up; it was well done! I love the art and how it fits the vibe very well!
Also, I want to know more! Do Sean get to follow his dreams? What happened before? Very curious!
Congrats for the release, thank you for making this! Looking forward to more! ^^
Thank you so much for your kind words! I did try to make everything cohesive art-and-atmosphere-wise so I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the experience!
As for Sean, while his past remains a mystery (for now), I do like to believe his dreams came true and he dedicated his first art gallery to the player! ( ˘⌣˘)♡
SEAN BOY GO BLUSH BLUSH.
Loving the tension hehe maybe we can see him in another game in the future? Alternate universe where we're on honeymoon in Italy? cries
Anyways this turned out rly well, thanks for giving him nice biceps.
OKAY I'LL STOP SIMPING.
GOOD JOB <3
Thank you so much for playing my game! He's booking tickets to Italy as we speak heheヽ(・∀・)ノ
I immediately replayed to get both endings omg!!!!
This was SO good, incredibly polished and very impressive for your first vn(?!?!?)
I love the atmosphere you created with the background sounds & visuals.
I am so intrigued to know more about Sean, MC & the others but the insight you gave during gameplay was still satisfying!
